So here I am this morning (Saturday), sitting down to write a mission statement for our upcoming Frenchtown NJ dogpark website and my wife notices a Democrat story about a Readington dog park which has just recently opened- wow! Like ripples spreading on a pond, in this case from two stones, but perfectly resonant.
So here I am 6 hrs. later, after coming over this afternoon to visit your outstanding park.
Congratulations! Excellent! And I’m jealous, but I realize how much hard work must have gone into this!
Our park will be smaller, but our needs are more modest, (at least in terms of local population), but not in terms of how much everyone needs opportunities to enjoy and learn about the creatures we have co-evolved with over the last 10 thousand years!)
I’m not going to donate anything other than praise as I’m truly guarding resources (monetary that is), for our own area).
I would appreciate in the future, (hopefully not to distant future), to ask who was contracted for the fence work, and the source for the waste collection bags…
The dedication plaques on the benches are a great idea.
